The Spartan Basketball program is a proud supporter of the HOPLITE BASKETBALL ACADEMY.  This organization helps young Spartans develop into the best they can be on and off the court.  We believe that the SPARTAN CODE is the foundation of how we can help these young men "Prepare For Glory".  Therefore, all those who volunteer, participate, play, coach, and support this organization we sincerely thank you!  Without this necessary first step to becoming a Spartan, our student-athletes would be at a disadvantage upon arriving on the Francis Howell Central Campus.  You can follow the Hoplite Basketball Academy on Twitter @HopliteHoops (Coach Keith Cissell) to stay updated on all things that pertain to our academy as well as to see the pics of games, practices, and camps.

Please call, or text, Coach Cissell if there are any questions about the Hoplite Basketball Academy (314-606-4036).

There is a calendar on the HOME page to view dates/times for the Hoplite Academy Practices

Once training sessions are allowed to resume, parents are welcome to stay, but there may be few places to sit because we will use the entire gym.  Also, a mask will be required in the gym.  If you do leave your son, it is with the understanding that the camp session ends at 11:30 and a ride will be available for your son promptly.  Finally, parents please be aware that if your son  attends one of the camp sessions you are authorizing the directors of the HOPLITE BASKETBALL ACADEMY to take whatever means are appropriate in case there is an injury and you cannot be reached.  Also, you are accepting that the academy, its trainers and coaches, or the School, cannot be help liable for any injuries sustained during training.  All activities and drills are designed with the mutual agreement that your son is in good health and may participate in all activities during training.
